High Win: Elie Dangoor (Eng) 597-308 vs. Howard Rayner (ZAF). Low Win: Fern Wheelwright (ZAF) 355-328 vs. Joy Palm (ZAF). High Loss: Bright Idahosa (NGA) 432-442 vs. Solomon Lephoto (ZAF). Low Loss: Denise Le Bron (ZAF) 275-571 vs. Nsikan Solomon Etim (NGA).

Board 1 featured a lopsided match between Debbe Hossy (ZAF) and Piotr Andronowski (Sco). It's hard to play perfectly by the time you get to the eighth or ninth game of the day, and I'm guessing Debbe is kicking herself over opening with GREY keeping ERU. She later got down AIDANTS; but Piotr owned the game, with FoRELAND, UNTENDER and DISSaVE.
