The event takes up three rooms: a playing room, a social room (where the players go after each round to see who they play next and gloat/commiserate about their games), and a food service room (where coffee, tea and pastries are served all day).
We'll be playing three games, then breaking for poolside lunch. Except that what I think of as a pool is referred to here, following British usage, as a lido. And LIDOSIDE* is unacceptable, although it does have an anagram.
